The Little Misters

If you are a Facebook friend you know the boys are here & we are having fun.
Here's what we've been up to.

Day 1. Notice they are NOT next to each other. Kept the "he touched me" to a minimum.

End of Day 1. Medford. Treats & tube time.
Action shot.

Morning 1 at Nana's house. The table & chair set was a Christmas gift to me from grandparents.
Circa 1958.

Grandpa(aka Mr S) exercises in every day. Here are the boys trying some push ups.

D having some fun.

Beach time. Garage sale "hunting hats"& boots from the farm store. They got here with no boots.
Mama had too much to remember.

Seal watching with Grandpa.

This …...

Led to this. Both boys actually.

Love this picture of D.
King of the Hill.

Best berry picking helpers.

Looking forward to more adventures & having them so close.
Have a great week. Quilting & more strawberries calling here.

Happy Nana Sharon

Quilty Goodness

The roller coaster is going fast & I can't get off! Does that ever happen to you? Thought I better blog about some quilts since it's almost July.

Here are some quilts I did earlier this month. I pinned this quilt on Pinterest & Diane L saw it and had to make one. Isn't it cute? All brights from her stash made into half square triangles.
I quilted Daisy Swirl on it.

Jan made this beauty for her daughter. Shhh, it's a birthday surprise. Jane's a new quilter, a great piecer & presser. Long arm quilters love a well pressed quilt top.

I quilted Falling Leaves II on this one.

JoAnne B did these next two. She has 19 grandchildren & everyone gets a quilt. She asked for simple quilting, so I gave this one a little bunny love.

I think this one was for her daughter.

It's been a busy month. Went to CA & drove to WA with Joanna & the Little Misters. Then continued on to my house for one of many adventures to come with the boys. I will post about it soon.
Here's a teaser.

Happiest Nana on the planet right now. How's your summer? Happily buried in strawberries here.
Be back soon.

Fresh Produce

Here's another Crabapple Hill pattern by Dianne. She had me use poly batting & I love the look.

It was a very fun quilt to do. Thanks Dianne!

Busy time for Nana. Heading to CA tomorrow to help the Little Misters & the parents move to WA.  It will be so nice to have them so close. Oops, think I said that before.

Hope you've been enjoying our lovely weather here in the Pacific Northwest. The strawberries love it. We've gotten to eat a few already.

Back soon with more quilty goodness.

A Little Bit of This & That

Here's what I've been up to. This is Lori's sampler quilt.

I used Blooming Feathers on it.

A great table runner by Erin.

Batting pokies on the back drive me crazy. It was sandwiched together when I got it so, punt was the name of the game.

Elaine's pretty pink.

The back shows the quilting better.

Jonne's quilt. Needed to keep this one masculine.

Like how it came out.

Cozy flannel back.

Going to get a couple more posts ready to go before I head off to CA for the last time. Helping the Little Misters(and their parents too) move back to WA.
The boys will be here for a few days until the furniture arrives. Oh shucks.
Hope you are all enjoying this great weather we've been having. Here's a beach picture until next time.

Happy quilting.
